A slot game development company, Dot Analytics was approached by Four Leafs with a need for advanced analytics and extended in-game event tracking for their products. Because apparently shipping games without drowning in data is no longer fashionable in 2026.
Together, we created a detailed implementation roadmap. The Four Leafs project manager clarified the business and technical requirements, and once all details were approved and the client confirmed readiness to begin, we designed and implemented a scalable analytics solution using Google Cloud services.
We built a scalable ETL pipeline using Google Cloud Pub/Sub as the core event-streaming mechanism. Raw event data was delivered into BigQuery in JSON format and then transformed and parsed using dbt into structured analytical tables.
Afterward, part of the business logic and metric calculations was implemented directly at the SQL layer. We also connected materialized views to Power BI and calculated additional product and marketing metrics inside Power BI dashboards.
